HTML CODE RUNNER

Editorial policy and corrections

How HTML Code Runner creates lessons, uses standards, tests examples and handles corrections transparently.

Our approach

Explanations should help a learner predict browser behavior, test an example and understand a tradeoff. We write original teaching material rather than copying competitor tutorials. Page count and search keywords are not substitutes for useful coverage.

Sources and verification

The WHATWG HTML Living Standard is the primary specification. MDN helps explain practical browser behavior. Accessibility guidance draws on ARIA in HTML. Browser support and evolving features require checking the current specification and target browsers.

AI assistance and review status

AI assisted the drafting of this library and its code examples. Automated checks cover source consistency, internal links, rendering routes and selected interactive behavior. Selected browser smoke tests are recorded in the project QA documentation. Independent editorial review is still pending for authored material; technical test success is not an expert endorsement.

Corrections and changes

Email hello@htmlcoderunner.com with the page URL, the incorrect passage and supporting evidence. Content changes should fix the explanation or example, not merely refresh a date. Publication and update dates reflect the CMS record, not a guarantee that every browser has been retested.

What scores mean

Quizzes and local markup checks provide practice feedback. Their rule sets are limited, and answers are available in browser source. They do not establish professional competence, complete standards conformance or accessibility certification.
